Pascal Adant

After working as a magazine photographer, Pascal Adant traded in his camera for a 16mm Bolex and started making films. Self-taught, and lacking both actors and film crew, he made his first 35mm film on his own using animation. It was a gamble that paid off: His “Dérapages” was selected for and won a prize at the International Critics' Week in Cannes. One thing led to another and he now has no less than 15 short fiction and animated films to his name, shown and acclaimed at many film festivals. He is currently working on his first feature film while continuing to make short films.
