Celia Tisserant and Celia Tocco
Celia Tocco
Celia Tocco studied animation at the Sainte-Geneviève Institut (Paris), before completing a one-year FCIL course at the ESAAT (Roubaix). A year alternating between studying and working with the Films du Nord gave her the opportunity to work with Nicolas Liguori on the film “The Wind in the Reeds”. She then codirected with Celia Tisserant her first short film, “The Golden Tortoise”. She worked particularly on the graphic universe, character and set design, while also contributing to the direction and animation of the film.
Celia Tisserant
After obtaining a DMA at the ESAAT, Celia Tisserant earned a place on the FCIL course proposed by the school, which gave her the opportunity to study animation in more depth while gaining professional experience, working part-time at Films du Nord in 2016-2017. This additional year of study enabled her to work with Nicolas Liguori on his film “The Wind in the Reeds”, before developing and directing her first short film, “The Golden Tortoise”, co-directed with Celia Tocco. As well as co-directing the film, she got involved with the management and organizational side of film production, while also contributing to the animation work. |
