Jonas Carpignano
Jonas Carpignano is based in Italy and France. In 2012, his short film, “A Chjana”, won the Controcampo Award for Best Short Film at the 68th Venice Film Festival and was awarded a Nastro D'Argento Special Mention from the Association of Italian Film Critics (SNGCI). The same year, he was named one of the top 25 new faces in independent film by Filmmaker Magazine. His latest short film, A Ciambra” was awarded at the 53rd Semaine de la Critique at Cannes.
